Product will be basically North American
hardwoods, which are primarily grown in the Eastern Middle Atlantic
Region of the United States.
Species to be procured and sold will be cherry,
oak, poplar, walnut, hard and soft maple, hickory, pine, basswood
plus others depending on demand and availability. We will also be a
supplier of local woods, cottonwood, mesquite, ponderosa pine, etc.
Imported woods will be supplied as requested.
Wholesale Distribution
Procuring from sawmills wood products milled to
specification, delivered to Red Rock Hardwoods in Cottonwood and
sold to local cabinet and furniture manufacturers.
Wholesale Brokering
Procurement of woods directly from the manufacturing
sawmills, sawed to specifications (length, width, thickness, and
grade of quality) needed. Grades of quality to be face &
better, IFAS, 1 common, and 2 common.
Wholesale Brokering
This lumber will be shipped directly to our sales accounts from the
manufacturing sawmill. Sales accounts included makers of furniture,
cabinets, picture frames, hardwood flooring, store fixtures,
musical instruments, architectural moldings, etc.
Retail Selling
Wood products proctored and shipped to our facility,
in-ventoried, displayed to be sold to local crafters and handy men.
This area of business could be classified retail or wholesale with
tax-exempt certification.
Experience
Eugene and Todd Merloe have an excess of 50 years combined wood
industry experience. This experience includes buying and selling
(brokering), technical grading and consulting. Shirley Merloe has
an excess of 40 years sales and customer service experience in the
fields of retail, hospitality and real estate.
